Business Update April 2011

Westfield is increasingly involved in all type of technology start-ups and some of them are already very successful despite recent economic recession. Also more and more business development projects with large companies are started then previous years. Due to these successes the portfolio of Westfield is becoming somewhat less focused and it is expected that Westfield will split its activities soon to new companies with a more recognizable identity.

In March a final progress meeting has been hold of the Smart Peas project of STW/ TU Delft. Westfield is one of the initiators of this project and member of the user group together with Siemens, Unilever and a couple of other companies. It is expected that some break-through technology will be developed for the process industry within 2 years from now. Current project is in its final phase though a new project with a considerable budget is being prepared to continue research and development for at least two years.

Westfield is urgently looking for senior business developers with industrial experience. Also excellent interim professionals are invited to join our network.

Forces4Growth

10-10-2010. We are happy announce that Westfield has acquired some activities of Forces4Growth B.V. regarding consultancy and interim management. The new brand 'F4G Consultancy' will be used to market this business.

Business Update Spring 2010

Last month an invention contest has been organized at Amolf - a Dutch research insitute in biophysics and nanophotonics. Well organized and great winners. Next period will be used in order to bring some of the most promising inventions to the market. www.amolf.nl

Due to its successes Westfield is also pleased to announce that it will increase its activities this year. Its team has been enhanced and professionalized. Also we will extend our partnerships with leading players and will continue to recruit the best business developers and other professionals.

New Website

01-02-2010. Welcome on the new website of Westfield - almost complete now - this winter we will add the remaining sections. We planned an official launch end of April.
